“Abby seriously went above and beyond for my husband and I on our wedding day. She was so easy to be around—super personable, fun, and just made the whole experience feel natural. Abby made us feel confident and brought out the best in us. She has such a great eye and made everything feel effortless.
And the photos… we’re OBSESSED. They turned out exactly how we imagined, if not better!!!! She truly has an eye and knows how to do her thing. Also, highly recommend booking video with them too—Hunter did such an amazing job. We honestly didn’t think too much about video when we booked; we just went with them as a duo since they work so well together, and WOW… it exceeded our expectations in every way.
1000000/10 recommend!” -Kaylee
Think there’s no such thing as the perfect estate wedding venue? Respectfully… I’m going to need you to log off and allow me to introduce you to Redeemed Farm in Scandia, Minnesota.
Because this venue (ugh, THIS VENUE!!!) is it in every way a wedding venue could be it. And Kaylee and Shaun were the It Couple… for it.

If I was a betting woman, I’d bet my beloved iced latte from Smith Coffee House (that’s how you know I mean business!) that Redeemed Farm was literally designed for the sake of moment-chasing, perspective-loving, personal paparazzis like Hunter and me. Everywhere you turn, there’s another pocket of light, another ridiculously stunning backdrop, another blink-and-you-miss-it moment practically begging for me to hit the shutter 27 times, just for effect.
And while I’m about to spend approximately 2,000-ish words gushing about Redeemed Farm, it’s important to note that perhaps the most special part of the day wasn’t just the bride and groom at one of the most gorgeous vineyard wedding venues on planet Earth—but how the bride and groom moved through their day, together.
When I tell you that Kaylee and Shaun’s wedding day was everything a wedding day should be, I mean it as much as anyone could mean literally anything ever. Their entire day felt so incredibly grounded, like a masterclass in presence. From first look to last dance, there wasn’t even a hint of treating the day like one giant production to manage instead of a memory to actually live inside of.

Kaylee and Shaun’s Redeemed Farm wedding was so totally joyful, so totally luxurious in a way that actually matters… and SO totally a wedding day that I would photograph over and over (and over!!!) again given the chance.
(Thoughts on an annual vow renewal, K+S?!!)
So, in honor of one of the most fully felt, fully experienced wedding days of my entire career, allow me to overshare everything about Redeemed Farm that makes it such an unbelievably iconic place for the artistry in your ever after.
If a gallery filled with creative perspectives, *all of the angles*, and a TON of variety is on your wedding photography wishlist, then you can just stop your search riiiiight now. Redeemed Farm covers all of those bases, and then some.
With two outdoor ceremony spaces, an indoor ceremony option that’s always fair play in case the weather goes south, dedicated areas for every other part of your day (i.e. cocktail hour, dinner, dancing), and a billion little corners and hedges to wander into for portraits, Redeemed Farm manages to feel expansive without ever losing its intimacy.
I could shoot 100 weddings here and never get bored, simply because of how the landscape and architecture gives a girl (and her videographer husband!) so many options.

Redeemed Farm does MANY things well, but one of the things it does best? It protects the magic.
The majority of wedding venues have one room doing the absolute most. Your ceremony space becomes your cocktail hour space, which turns into your reception space in a frenzy of folding chairs.
Redeemed Farm could never.
In fact, this estate wedding venue is laid out in a way that allows you to spend your wedding day doing what I personally think wedding days were intended for: getting married and having the time of your ever-loving lives. (Crazy concept, I know.)
Instead of spending the day watching rooms get rearranged, or accidentally stumbling upon a team of vendors frantically speed-flipping a room in five minutes flat while your guests stand awkwardly to the side, you just… experience your wedding day with all of its magic fully intact.
The more weddings I photograph, the more I become convinced that this was a big reason Kaylee and Shaun were able to stay so present. They simply moved from their independent getting-ready suites to their first look to their ceremony (and so on) without the slightest glimmer of chaos.
They weren’t managing a wedding; they were living one.

I mean, the hydrangeas ALONE need an editorial write-up in Vogue.
They were everywhere—and they were doing the Lord’s work, I tell you what.
Add to that the European-inspired hedges framing every shot, perfectly manicured lawns to get a little lost on (no, seriously, we lost a groomsman, like, three times), and the vineyard that looks like it was made for golden hour— and you have yourself a VENUE.
Like, a venue venue.
In photographer terms? It’s Christmas morning. In non-photographer terms? It’s stun-ning. Full stop.
Redeemed Farm doesn’t just give you good corners and call it a day. It keeps unfolding right along with you the longer you’re there.

As a luxury wedding photographer who has *thoughts* about most ceremony spaces, it’s hard to find one that checks all of my boxes—much less that supports both documentation and emotion at the same time.
So many ceremony spaces are either beautiful for guests and limiting for photographers/videographers OR functional for vendors but visually fall flat.
You probably won’t be surprised when I say this, but… Redeemed Farm is neither. It’s just PERFECT.
The aisle is wide enough for organic movement. The guest seating leaves plenty of room for Hunter and I to work without distracting from the ceremony. There’s space behind the altar for me to sneak behind a hydrangea and get the shot of mom crying (and dad pretending not to cry).
Another shout out to the landscaping team because the vines and foliage also allow me to photograph through elements instead of standing directly in guests’ sightlines. In other words? A better experience for everyone involved.
I wouldn’t change a single thing about this ceremony space… and that’s saying something!!

If you’re planning on golden hour portraits: prepare yourself. You might gasp your way right into a cardiac arrest.
At Redeemed Farm, you don’t have to manipulate faux golden hour portraits into existence in a corner of the parking lot or hunt for a “pretty enough” patch of light that kind of, sort of, almost does the job if you squint a little and pretend hard enough.
NOPE, the light is already there, simply waiting for you to make it the main event. And it wraps around the property in the most ridiculous, drool-worthy, how-is-this-even-REAL way imaginable.
Kaylee and Shaun’s sunset portraits are some of my favorites I’ve ever taken, not just because of them and how in-awe-of-each-other they were (I mean, C’MON!), but because Redeemed Farm kept giving us new ways to experience the same light.
It never once felt like we were chasing the sun. It just felt like Redeemed Farm kept offering it up, over and over again, slightly different versions of the same art form.
It felt endless.

Redeemed Farm doesn’t really give “farm” in the way most people expect when they hear the word.
Despite being an estate wedding vineyard (and yes, technically having a barn on its property), it feels elevated and refined in a way you simply won’t find anywhere else. The pristine white architecture, vineyard views, and sprawling grounds create an atmosphere that feels much closer to a private estate or French countryside villa than a traditional Minnesota barn venue.
It’s the kind of venue that lets you have a visually stunning outdoor wedding without ever feeling like you’ve sacrificed luxury or comfort.

One of the things that stood out most to me throughout the day was how invested Jeff and Julie are in creating an incredible experience for their couples.
No detail’s too small. No corner of the property is overlooked. Everything—from the grounds to the guest experience—reflects humans who genuinely care about what they’re building and the memories being created there.
And you can feel it from the moment you step foot on the property. It shows up in how the hydrangeas are maintained. It shows up in the flow (severely underrated!!!) of the day. It shows up in how couples actually get to live inside the artistry of their ever after instead of feeling like they have to create it from one moment to the next.
I’m telling you: Redeemed Farm does its thing—and it does it RIGHT!
Because as much as I am obviously obsessed with Redeemed Farm, I also think it’s important to talk about what this space actually feels like logistically so you can plan well and feel good going into it.
First things first, this property is LARGE. Like… really large. Which is amazing until you realize you’re trying to find one specific groomsman and he is somewhere in a different zip code emotionally and physically. Walkie talkies would genuinely not be a bad idea. I said what I said.
If you’re hosting a guest count at or near full capacity, dinner can get a little tight. Once everyone is seated and settled in, it’s totally fine, but it’s more of a “we are all in this beautiful, long-table moment together” situation rather than a spread-out ballroom vibe.
If you’re planning a late summer outdoor ceremony, just know there isn’t a ton of shade in that space. The light is absolutely gorgeous, but it can get warm, so fans, water, or a slightly later ceremony time might be your best friend here.
And lastly, don’t sleep on the timeline! At Redeemed Farm, music needs to be off by 10pm and the building has to be vacated by 10:30pm. It’s a hard stop, so if you’re the kind of couple dreaming of dancing until your feet give out at 1am, you’ll definitely want to plan an after-party situation somewhere nearby.
So if you’re in the thick of planning and trying to find a place that actually feels like this—not just looks like it during a ten minute tour ending in signing a dotted line—I cannot recommend Redeemed Farm enough. Go tour it. Walk the grounds. For the love of love stories, watch how the light hits the vineyard. You’ll understand immediately.
And if you’re dreaming up a wedding day that feels like this kind of presence and this kind of luxury and this kind of full-on emotional, fully lived experience… that’s literally what we’re here for.
Photography and videography that doesn’t just document the day, but low key makes your heart race when you see it played back.
We’ll take care of the remembering. You just live it.

And if you end up at Redeemed Farm… just know I’ll be over here obsessed with you already.

We met in a group interview at Topgolf (no, seriously). A few months later, we were accidentally falling in love!
Now? We’re a photo + video duo based in Minnesota, a real-life almost-married couple, and the people you want around when everything’s happening all at once and you don’t want to forget a single second of it!!!
We take this job personally. We document like it’s our own. And we lose it—quietly, professionally, emotionally—every time someone says “I do.”
Come for the art. Stay for the near-feral enthusiasm. Leave with a gallery that’ll wreck you (in a good way).
AND HUNTER!!!
